Charles Enel Paris 1930
Charles Enel apprenticed and worked with some of the leading French instrument makers of his time before opening his own shop. He learned under Grillon and Gustave Bazin and worked for Mougenot, Deroux, and Silvestre. He established his Paris shop in 1911 with Felix Bollecker. Enel made 215 instruments in a range of quality and price levels, with his finest instruments displaying his excellent craftsmanship and command of detail. He often branded instruments on the lower block.
