Joined Kerr Violins in the mid 1980's. Bow maker specializing in rehairing, cambering, and restoring bows. Performs regularly with jazz, swing and other groups. The 2014 National Swing Fiddle champion.

Janet Starck Toon - Instrument Repair/Restoration
Joined the shop in 1986 and specializes in restoration. Member of the American Federation of Violin and Bow Makers. Apprenticed 1978-1984. Internship with Robert Cauer 1984-1986. Co-founder of The Luthier's Library. Studied violin performance for 15 years. Member of the American Federation of Violin and Bow Makers.

Steve Banchero - Shop Manager, Repair, Sales
Graduated from the Chicago School of Violin Making in 1982 and holds a Bachelor's degree in music history from UCLA. Previously worked at Kenneth Warren and Son in Chicago, Robert Cauer Violins in Los Angeles, and Roland Feller Violins in San Francisco. Joined the shop in 1991.

Worked at the shop part time during high school. Graduated from the University of Oregon and wrote for newspapers for a few years before returning to the shop full time in 2006 to restore and make instruments.
