Giuseppe Pedrazzini learned the fundamentals of woodworking from his father, who was a cabinet maker. He apprenticed with Romeo Antoniazzi around 1903 and opened his own workshop in 1906.
His honors included appointment as luthier to the Conservatoire and Opera House of Milan and several medals and prizes from violin making competitions. He employed numerous Milanese makers, including Ferdinando Garimberti, Piero Parravicini and Natale Novelli.
His instruments, typically Amati and Stradivari models, combine refinement and personal style.
