At the David Kerr Violin Shop, we welcome players of all styles; classical, baroque, jazz and folk. Whether you are a beginner or a professional, we invite you to sample our fine selection of violins, violas, cellos and bows. Our inventory is among the largest in the Northwest. Regardless of an instrument’s value, each is thoroughly inspected and adjusted with the same meticulous care before being placed in our showroom.

Extended Saturday Hours for Summer

From May 9th until August 1st, we will be open Saturdays from 10a – 5p.

Make note that we will be closed June 16th – 18th, and also July 4th.

"Luthier's Library" Launched

A new and ambitious project of cataloging detailed measurements of historically important bowed-string instruments and making the data available online has recently launched.
